Join us for a fireside chat with Toronto-based a serial entrepreneur Mark Ruddock. Mark has had two successful exits and over 15 years of experience at the helm of VC backed technology startups. He founded companies and has come in as an early stage CEO to help existing founders fund and grow their business. Currently, he's the CEO of Wonga (Canada). Wonga's mission is to provide a genuine alternative to slow, rigid and long-term sources of credit and they're committed to doing this responsibly. In December 2010, he joined StatusNet as interim CEO. The company was named one of the 10 Canadian Cloud companies to watch in May 2011 by IDC. Prior to that he was CEO of the fast rising mobile software company, Viigo, which was acquired in March 2010 by BlackBerry (then Research In Motion). Before Viigo, he was the Entrepreneur in Residence at Ventures West.
