David Baverez is an investor. After fifteen years spent between London and Boston, he has lived in Hong Kong for the last five years. For ten years (1995-2005), David worked for Fidelity Investments where he was in charge of various European and Global Equity funds, including the award-winning Fidelity European Aggressive Fund. In 2005, he set up his own company, KDA Capital, a long-only concentrated European Equity fund focusing on the concept of change. At the end of 2010, he took the contrarian step to return all funds to his investors, anticipating future European sovereign issues. Since then, he has settled in Hong Kong where he splits his time between funding various start-ups and understanding the disruptions of the new emerging world. David is a regular columnist in the French newspapers L’Opinion, as well as Les Echos and Le Figaro. David is a graduate of the Paris-based HEC Business School and of the INSEAD MBA Programme.
Leon joined Partech in June 2019 as Principal. Based out of Paris, he is focusing on venture equity investments, across Europe and beyond.
Prior to Partech, Leon was an initial member and Associate Vice President at ID Capital in Singapore. He spearheaded the firm’s end-to-end efforts in Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), Japan, South Korea as Thailand and Singapore. He was instrumental and prolific in weaving partnerships with VCs, startup hubs and government agencies and establishing a presence for the firm in countries under his mandate. Leon was previously an early team member and Program Manager leading operational transformation and innovation projects for Google across 13 countries in APAC.
Coming from a technical background between Mines ParisTech & National University of Singapore. He is fluent in Mandarin, English and French.
Qunkai (Kevin) Liu leads the Alipay business in France as General Manager. Prior to Alipay, he was one of the founding members of Alibaba office in France, as the Country Manager of Alibaba Cloud for France, South Europe, Benelux and Israel.
He has more than 15 years of experience in innovation, management and marketing, as well as sales in the ICT industry. Prior to Alibaba, he held several positions in research & development, marketing & sales domains at Orange Labs (Paris and Tokyo), Orange Business Services (EMEA markets), and Huawei Technologies France (Global Key Accounts, New Business Development). He holds a Diploma of Engineering (Diplôme d’ingénieur) from Telecom ParisTech and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Nanjing University, China.
刘群凯 Kevin
刘群凯担任支付宝法国国家经理，负责阿里云在法国的业务拓展和合作生态的搭建。他曾担任阿里云法国南欧国家经理，负责阿里云在法国、南欧、荷比卢和以色列的业务。是阿里巴巴在法国的初创员工。
他在ICT行业具有十多年丰富的经验，领域涉及创新、管理、市场和销售。在加入阿里巴巴之前，他曾在法国电信集团Orange担任研发、技术、和企业市场营销等职务。之后帮助华为拓展法国企业业务和云计算、大数据市场。
刘群凯毕业于南京大学电子与信息工程系，获得学士学位。于法国巴黎高科巴黎高等电信学院获得工程师学位。
Diomedes is the CTO Chief technology officer of Microsoft Services APAC. In this role, Diomedes is responsible of helping customers leverage the amazing technology innovations to thrive in the digital area. Prior to that, Diomedes was the Head of Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G enterprise product at the Singtel Group. A great highlight was heading the Ericsson Silicon Valley office, leading Ericsson’s long-term technology vision and innovation with focus on 5G, artificial intelligence, next-generation content delivery and heterogenous DevOps. His commitment to positive disruption is expressed through ongoing collaborations with universities, industry thought leaders, and technology incubators. Diomedes holds an MSc. in Computer Science and a diploma in Mathematics with specialization in AI, as well as in cost effective cryptology techniques and holds a few patents. He also holds board member positions in new innovative companies around the world.
