About this event

Home to an increasingly growing tech landscape, Paris is set to become one of the main startup capitals in the continent, alongside London and Berlin. What makes the Paris startup scene unique? Historically, it has been difficult to do business in Paris. But today, this process has become much clearer, and the closest attention is paid to every element required to build a new technology hub. In France, each of these three elements is booming.

  1. an influx of talents;
  2. venture capital investments at every development level;
  3. ecosystem to support growth (incubators, accelerators, mentors, etc.).

In this round table, we gathered all sort of profiles around this vibrant ecosystem: startups founder, investor, incubator, and supportive non-profit association.

We're glad to have 4 excellent female speakers from divers backgrounds and industries:

  • Elizabeth Pauchet, Board Member, Femmes Business Angel
  • Anais Monlong, Investor, AXA Venture Partners
  • Marie Terrier, CTO, Yelda AI
  • Julie Bonnecarrère, Co-founder, Northern Lights Entertainment

It's also an occasion of exchange, networking and peer-learning for Paris innovators. We welcome startup community in Paris to join us for a discussion before and after the event.

Due to limited capacity, we'll only host 30 participants for the offline session. RSVP now.

About Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Month

This month Startup Grind is celebrating DEI month, presented with SVB and supported by Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs. DEI stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; 31 days to emphasize the importance of diversity across our global startup ecosystem, and what it means to all of us. We are so excited to take this time to recognize and amplify the voices of leaders in our globally diverse communities, providing a platform for those that may not have been heard previously.

In addition to this event, you can also view Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Month events taking place across our global startup community here or register for our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summit here.
