Kathleen Mahieu is responsible for strategy and innovation for Aetna Behavioral Health. In her role, she develops initiatives and partnerships that advance our strategy and drive innovation and growth. Within the business, Kathleen works to design, refine, and implement creative solutions that improve the member experience, expand access to care, broaden integrated medical/behavioral solutions, and improve health outcomes.
Kathleen leads Aetna Behavioral Health’s digital strategy with an emphasis on strategic partnerships that differentiate and advance innovation and transformation in behavioral health care delivery. She oversees behavioral health product development and market and consumer insights that inform and guide innovation. Kathleen facilitates plan sponsor and provider leadership forums to collaborate on new products, solutions, and approaches that promote the delivery of quality behavioral health care.
Prior to joining Aetna in 2017, Kathleen led the national behavioral health consulting practice for Aon Hewitt. Kathleen worked with Fortune 100 employers to evaluate and design EAP and behavioral health care programs. She also developed innovative solutions and global strategies that effectively address mental well-being in the workplace. Kathleen is a recognized expert on the topics of EAP, behavioral health, workplace mental health, and mental health parity compliance. Kathleen has been a featured speaker at national industry and employer conferences and published numerous articles and studies on topics such as mental health in the workplace, EAP trends, and integrated behavioral health programs.
Kathleen holds a Master’s in Education from Fairfield University and Master’s in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University.
Kathleen currently serves on the Advisory Board for Open Minds.
Katherine Yacko is a seasoned IT leader and innovator focused on enterprise-level emerging technology strategy, adoption and transformation. Katherine joined Aetna's Technology Research & Innovation team in 2011, developing deep expertise and enterprise strategy in the emerging tech domains of AI/Cognitive, Immersive Technologies, Behavioral and Advanced Analytics, Blockchain, and Internet of Things (IoT). Katherine contributions to Aetna's Technology Foundation Architecture and the Digital Transformation Strategy, have established Aetna as a leader in the industry.
Katherine took on the role of Senior Director of Technology Innovation, when CVS Health acquired Aetna, and currently manages the tech-enabled innovation pipeline for CVS Health, inspiring business transformation through vanguard thinking, exploration, and demonstration of the Art of the Possible. Actively envisioning and inspiring others to find unique, innovative combinations of emerging and existing technologies that will create a new and better reality in Healthcare. Katherine partners with university and vendor research labs as well as start-up communities to bring ground-breaking tech and novel ideas to CVS Health's innovation pipeline.
With 30+ years' experience in healthcare IT, Katherine has led numerous strategic initiatives, consistently delivering leadership, value, transformation and cultural change in a complex environment. Katherine's curiosity, passion for learning, and unconventional style has led her to various roles, forging her own path, while supporting and advising business leaders across numerous domains along the way. She is an innovation activist and inspirational leader, emboldening others to think and act outside the box, to disrupt, reinvent, and achieve.
Katherine graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and holds a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Harpreet is an innovation architect with 16 years of experience working on introducing with new emerging technologies in Financial and Healthcare Industry.
Her current areas of focus are Blockchain and Distributed Ledger technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
