Jolyda Sou is a Specialist in Financial Management and Investment at the World Bank. Joly has experience in financial services, startup investment and consulting in the United States and Southeast Asia. Through her prior work with Mekong Strategic Partners in Cambodia, Joly has screened investment opportunities, extended investment capital to startups and supervised strategies. Joly is a Fulbrighter and a leader in youth-led initiatives via Project Inspire, which she founded in 2016.

In this event, the speaker will share experience in startup investment from investor’s perspectives, including initial communication with startups, screening process, investment and working with startups. She will also provide investment landscape overview, tips and guidelines for startups to prepare themselves for investment.
