Port au Prince, Haiti joins the Startup Grind network with Marc Alain Boucicault as the first speaker. The event takes place in front of a group of 100 entrepreneurs. Marc co-founded Elan, which has become the biggest youth discussion and action driven platform in Haiti. Later he co-founded HFund a closed-ended micro-venture capital firm offering financial instruments to innovative businesses.
