Haitian from Port-au-Prince, Marc Alain has worked in international development, macroeconomic research and business incubator design with the Inter-American Development Bank. 

He is co-founder and current Director of Support to Youth led Initiatives at Groupe ECHO Haiti through which he has helped incubate 8 projects tackling issues related to education, climate change, environment, employment, agribusiness, technology and entrepreneurship in Haiti. 

Through Groupe ECHO Haiti, he has created and lead several other innovative projects including youth leadership and scientific clubs in top universities and ELAN Haiti, the biggest international youth discussion and action driven platform in the country. 

He teaches economics at College les Oliviers. 

He is a former Coordinating Ambassador for Central America and the Caribbean at One Young World, one of the biggest youth networks in the world. 

He is also co-founder and the chief external relations officer at HFund, a closed-ended micro-venture capital firm offering new modern and tailored financial instruments that bring capital to innovative businesses and contribute to the emergence of a new category of entrepreneurs in Haiti. 

Marc Alain is a Fulbright scholar. He holds a M.A in Financial Economic Policy from American University and a B.A in Applied Quantitative Economics from CTPEA.
