Simona Kijonková is in business since 2008. At the beginning, she worked within IT company, where she participated in the development of hundreds of web designs and e-shops. In 2015, she was listed within the prestigious ranking "Top 25 Czech women in business of 2015" for her entrepreneurial and innovative activities. In 2016, she was established as one of the 75 most influential women of the Czech Republic by prestigious magazine Forbes.

In addition to Zásilkovna.cz company, she is also engaged in her IT company MYPS s.r.o., which develops web tailor-made applications. Furthermore, she is actively interested in angel investing into various technological start-ups; e.g. SizeID.com, revolutionary application that helps customers to choose the right size of clothing while shopping online; and Robeeto.com, a P2P community platform which mediates various services online.

Simona is one of the few women, who actively participate in the Czech e-commerce field. She is the founder of Zásilkovna.cz company, within which she helps more than 14 ,000 e-shops to build their own tailor-made logistics and when doing so, she is not afraid to break any deep-rooted rules and customs. Under her leadership, Zásilkovna.cz has become a successful international company, with stable, more than double annual growth and with one of the largest network of distribution points in the Czech and Slovak Republic. The annual turnover of the company is around 200 million crowns. In recent years, the company significantly expanded further to Europe. Simona is the member of ADMEZ board as well as the member of the audit board of the PR Club CZ.
