Walter started his career in Sports, where he worked for the NBAs Phoenix Suns and the University of Texas Longhorns Athletic Department. Here, he focused on creating the best experience for Partners and Fans while attending games. He left this role to then focus on supporting Startups at Techstars where he managed Global Network Partnerships such as Google and HubSpot along with their over 300 Perk Partners. Walter joined HubSpot for Startups to continue his support for Founders and to ensure they have the best products and resources in the Startup Ecosystem. In his free time Walter loves to spend time with his 1 year old daughter and hike the Colorado Wilderness.
Kelsey got her start working in the nonprofit world with organizations such as Teach For America and City Year where she launched a new startup program each year and built out a self-sustaining infrastructure. Kelsey began working in the travel industry where she helped create scalable sales, marketing and project management systems which enabled the organization she worked for to expand their brand multinationally.
From there she moved to Boston to complete her MBA, finishing her program at Harvard and launched her own startup opening 2 brick and mortar plant based juice bar cafes in the Boston area.
She is passionate about helping startups grow and scale and now provides coaching and guidance to partnership managers across Silicon Valley and the broader west coast through her leadership role on the HubSpot For Startups Team.
