About Brad Feld

Brad Feld has been an early stage investor and entrepreneur for over 30 years since 1987. Brad is also an avid blogger/writer, thought leader, and speaker on the topics of venture capital investing and entrepreneurship. He’s written a number of books as part of the Startup Revolution series and writes the blogs Feld Thoughts and Venture Deals.

Prior to co-founding Foundry Group, he co-founded Mobius Venture Capital as well as Intensity Ventures, through which he has built and wields one of the most prolific investment portfolios in the venture world. Among his most notable investments are Zynga, MakerBot, Fitibit, Vengo, Buffer, Calm, HoneyBook, Opendoor, Pigeonly, Poshmark and countless others. Alongside David Cohen, Brad is also widely known as the co-founder of Techstars, one of the most important mentorship-based startup accelerators in the world.

Right after the insightful fireside chat, the event will continue on with Startup Duels, a fun 1 on 1 style mini startup championship with participating startups from around the globe. Come show off your startup to the global community, duel with the best of the best and earn some bragging rights, some amazing in-kind prizes will be up for grabs as well for the Crowd Favourite and the Best Startup!

The Startup Duels mini-championship pre-qualification stage is open to all startups (preferably vetted by a local Startup Grind chapter). Only 16 startups will make the cut to the main stage. Will you be among them? This Startup Pitch Duels are truly sudden death matches. May the best Startup win!
