Laurens van Dort is the founder of Fairf.nl and hols a MSc degree of the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. Laurens created the foundation of the company Fairf in 2015 by using a crowdfunding campaign to set up a small paint factory in the favela Providencia in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this favela, local people produce colours for local art projects and are educated on entrepreneurship. In the Netherlands Laurens created a new paint brand to disrupt the traditional paint industry and support his projects in Rio. The company Fairf delivers sustainable paint including all materials to paint, right at your doorstep.
