Startup Grind Sacramento is having a fireside chat with Dr. Pam Marrone, the founder of Marrone Bio Innovations (MBII). She took MBII public on NASDAQ in 2013, netting $56.4M. MBII was sold to Bioceres Crop Solutions (BIOX) for $260M in 2022. Dr. Marrone currently leads Invasive Species Corporation, aiming to control pests with biological solutions.

Startup Grind in partnership with Startup Folsom and  Granite City Coworking is hosting a fireside chat with Dr. Pam Marrone. In 2006, she founded Marrone Bio Innovations (MBII) and in August 2013, she led the company to be listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, raising net proceeds of $56.4 million. The company was sold in July 2022 to Bioceres Crop Solutions (NASDAQ:BIOX) for $260 million. She is currently the Co-founder and Executive Chair of Invasive Species Corporation, a startup focused on bringing biologicals solutions to control invasive pests in water, forestry and ag.
