Darsh Singh joined Satori Capital in 2012 as Satori Capital Alpha’s Portfolio Manager and is on the investment committee. In this role, Darsh is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring investment opportunities on behalf of Satori Capital's principals and partners. Prior to joining Satori Capital, Darsh spent three years managing the equity, fixed income and hedge fund investments for a family office in San Antonio, Texas. Besides sourcing, evaluating and selecting outside managers, he also managed the internally traded portfolio and developed hedge fund strategies to match the risk targets and return requirements of the family, where he specialized in developing innovative volatility-based strategies. Before his foray into finance, Darsh worked in US Intelligence for the National Security Agency. In his time at the agency, he primarily spent time in the top secret world of signals intelligence developing, testing and implementing tools for ‘the offense.’ Darsh is finishing his Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University. He received a BS in Engineering Science from Trinity University, where he also served as the captain of the basketball team and became the first-ever turbaned Sikh to play in NCAA basketball. Darsh is actively involved in his community through volunteering and supporting local projects. Recently, he was selected as a member of Global Shapers, a community of young leaders organized by the World Economic Forum. Darsh lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife Lakhpreet.
