Pat Matthews is an entrepreneur, a former tech executive and an angel investor.

About this event

Pat Matthews founded Webmail.us with friends Bill Boebel and Kevin Minnick in 1999. They were all students at Virginia Tech University at the time. They dropped out to run the company which went through some difficult years before finding its niche in email. The founders sold the company in 2007 to Rackspace. For several years, Matthews worked as a senior vice president and general manager of cloud operations and business development at Rackspace. He recently left the company. He's now an active investor in lots of Central Texas startups including Pressable, OwnLocal, DoStuffMedia, Promoter.io and others.
