As Startup San Diego resumes programming, we are starting a series of Virtual Fireside Chats dedicated to speaking with entrepreneurs, contributors & ecosystem builders throughout the local ecosystem about their process of pivoting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our first Post-COVID featured speaker will be the Executive Director for Startup San Diego, Alexa-Rae Navarro. After 7 years with the Bixel Exchange Center for Innovation & Tech (Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce) supporting the LA tech ecosystem, Alexa-Rae returned to America’s finest city to take on this leadership role with Startup San Diego. We will discuss how the pandemic has affected the organization & how its affecting the local ecosystem as a whole. We will also talk about how restructuring the organization puts Startup San Diego in a better position going forward and of course, going from San Diego Startup Week to now Startup San Diego Startup Month.
