Her character is bold; Her God fearing spirit converts a room. She is warm, independent and chosen for such a time like this. Her name is Ms. Wendy H. Lewis who hails from South Trinidad. Ms. Lewis is an Author, Certified Protocol Officer, Entrepreneur, Mentor, Motivational Speaker, & Senior Facilitator and Television Host who owns and manages The Trinidad and Tobago Corporate Training Academy formerly The Trinidad and Tobago School of Protocol; Khalabash Productions and Kingdom Connection Network.
Ms. Lewis is a former lecturer at the UWI Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business’ Masters in Institutional Innovation and Effectiveness (MIIE) program; Facilitator at CTS College and the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).
Having lived in the UK for 17 years, Ms. Lewis returned to Trinidad in 2008. Ms. Lewis served as the Chief Executive Officer at The Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment Company Limited, a State Enterprise under the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Trinidad in 2009. During this tenure, Ms. Lewis participated and served in several areas at the Summit of the Americas whilst steering the marketing and promotion of the arts and culture of Trinidad and Tobago using several business developmental tools.
With ambition, growth and tenacity, Ms. Lewis became the Protocol Officer for the then Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the late Honourable Mr. Patrick Augustus Mervyn Manning from 2009 to 2013. By 2014, The Trinidad and Tobago School of Protocol, an independent body tailored to facilitate training in several areas such as Corporate Protocol and Etiquette was formed. By 2017, several modules including Communications, Customer Service, Emotional Intelligence, Counselling & Mentoring, Entrepreneurial Workshops and Leadership & Governance were added hence the rebranding to The Trinidad and Tobago Corporate Training Academy® in 2017.
Also in 2017, Ms. Lewis was appointed District Manager for the Trinidad and Tobago Chapter of Caribbean Women Honors and Empowerment (CWHE) where various initiatives and speaking engagements to honor and empower women – corporately; including victims of domestic violence, young unwedded mothers and much more are being hosted.
