John HanJoo Lee is a Co-founder and Partner of SparkLabs, a premier startup accelerator in Korea as well as a globally focused seed fund. SparkLabs is founded by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, and is focused on identifying and nurturing early stage startups with a vision of going global. John also is a Co-founder of Hostway, a leading enterprise managed hosting and cloud provider. He along with his fellow founding members of Hostway grew Hostway from a corner of his apartment in Chicago to operating 12 datacenters around the world serving over 600,000 business clients. Since the founding in 1998, John served on various leadership roles within the company until successfully exiting to a private equity firm in 2013. He is also CEO of Affinity, a fast growing online advertising exchange based out of India. John was born and raised in Korea and immigrated to the United States at age 13. He holds a BA in Biology from the University of Chicago.
