Yong-Kwan Lee graduated department of Physics at KAIST (Ph.D: low temperature plasma physics). During Ph.D course, founded PLASMART which was a startup developing a plasma control and diagnostics system for micro/nano patterning equipment of semiconductor, display and solar pannel industry. PLASMART was acquired (2012) by MKS instrument (NASDAQ listed) which is the world best company in the area of vacuum component and sensory industry.
Founded bluepoint partners Inc. to support and invest deep-tech startup (2014. 7) and have invested 40 startups up to now.
