Prior to developing StyleSeat, McCloskey led digital distribution at Current TV, where she met developer Dan Levine. Today, the platform has powered over 50M appointments in over 16,000 US cities and has powered over $3 billion in appointments. High profile investors of StyleSeat include Ashton Kutcher, Sophia Bush, Guy Oseary and Uber CEO Co-founder Travis Kalanick.

Melody is co-founder and CEO of StyleSeat, the largest marketplace for booking beauty and wellness services. In 2011, after feeling frustrated that there was no easy way to book beauty appointments while on the go, Melody founded StyleSeat with her business partner Dan Levine. More than 250,000 beauty professionals in over 15,000 cities use the platform today and more than 3 million clients use StyleSeat to book everything from hair cuts to mani/pedis and facials. In 2014, Melody was named by Fast Company as one of the Most Creative People in Business and a Top Woman to Watch in Tech by Inc. Magazine.
Nicole focuses on investments in consumer technology with particular interest in brands, commerce, social media, video, fintech and marketplaces. Nicole started working with brands over 10 years ago and has specialized in consumer behavior, the retail landscape both in the U.S. and Europe and taking brands to the public market.
Prior to Lightspeed, she worked on branding and marketing at Nutmeg, a London based Fintech startup focused on online wealth management for millennials. Earlier, Nicole spent eight years covering consumer, eCommerce and brands at Morgan Stanley on the equity sales and research side. She worked on the IPOs for Facebook, Groupon and Pandora. Nicole has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSc in Math and Economics from York University, England.
