Anna Ottosson Blixth born in Östersund, is a Swedish former alpine skier who won an Olympic bronze medal in the giant slalom race at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.Anna has been skiing on elite level, worked as marketing and health strategist and previously ran her own business in the travel and event industry. Her previous experience is very useful when it comes to support innovative ideas for sports, tourism and outdoor recreation. Her roots lies in sports, but the outdoors is why she lives in Jämtland. She sees tourism as a pillar for the development of the county.
Today she is a board member of the Swedish Ski Association, director of sports at Peak Innovation. She’s also a guide, project manager, lecturer and Chairman of Adventura. Anna has become a key player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Jämtland and she’s currently working with a “Sports incubator” where they coach former elite athletes on how to apply their willpower and spirit in entrepreneurial areas.
