Annie Lööf, Leader of the Centre Party and former Minister of Enterprise in Sweden

Annie was elected to the national parliament in 2006, being at the time the youngest member of parliament. She served as Minister of Enterprise (Näringslivsminister) and head of the Ministry of Enterprise, Communication and Energy from 2011 to 2014, Annie is now one of the opposition leaders in the national parliament.

As Minister of Enterprise she has been essential to Swedish policy on innovation, enterprise, entrepreneurship and conditions for businesses to grow. As one of the leaders of the opposition she is still very much involved in these issues. Human rights and privacy issues are other focus areas of hers.

She grew up in the Gnosjöregion, where entrepreneurship & social networks are essential to the local culture and key to a prosperous ecosystem for local businesses.
