About this event

Meet Bear Douglas, from San Francisco, CA who recently joined Slack from Twitter (and before that Facebook). Her mission is to help developers build more pleasant and productive ways to work. Tonight we focus on Bots, AI and whatnots. Bear's been an early team member at several startups and has experienced the ups and downs of "friends and family" rounds, total product pivots, and getting acquired.

Together with Bear we have Slack’s platform team coming to the event and they want to meet programmers, founders, and bot builders who are building the future of work. Come and ask questions, share ideas, give feedback and show us what you’re working on!

EXTRA EXTRA - We also have Christoph Auer-Welsbach joining on stage. Christoph is an experienced founder, investor, and product manager in the areas of converging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud and Internet of Things. He’s focusing on Deep Technology as partner at IBM Ventures, and applied Artificial Intelligence as the initiator of City.AI. He’s also an advisor and investor in startups such as Asset Mapping, Cupenya, Undeveloped (Exit: Epik), LiveOnDemand, and Letz.do, and mentor at various startup accelerators and venture firms in Europe such as Portugal Ventures, TechStars, Rockstart, Startup Wise Guys, Startupbootcamp, Wayra, and other technology programs.
