Fredrik Wester is the CEO and Principal Owner of Paradox Interactive, the Sweden-based games company best known for developing PC strategy games like Stellaris, Europa Universalis, Crusader Kings and Hearts of Iron series as well as publishing a wide range of titles including Cities Skylines, Pillars of Eternity and Magicka. Since 2003, Wester has built Paradox from a 7-man studio to an international publisher with over 200 employees and another 10 partner companies (200 people) making games on contract. Paradox is publicly traded on Nasdag First North Premier under the trading symbol PDX. Wester has been in leading positions at Paradox for 13 years and acted as CEO & President for the past 7 years. He holds a number of board positions in startup companies and is also an active investor and advisor in the gaming, tech and media industries.
