Just in the last 2 years, there's been over 108 gaming investment, with $417M in transaction value. Which makes gaming is the 4th largest industry in terms of investments in the Nordics. Angel investors like Zlatan Ibrahimovic invested in the gaming industry within the last 12 months. Sweden alone had 43 investments in gaming within the last 12 months. Jenny Nordenborg is the COO and Co-founder of Neat Corporation with a clear vision for what she want the company to be; a growing ground for passionate oddballs, delivering tech and games that add joy to people’s lives.
Jenny has also founded the company Brain Harbour, a company developing educational VR games for kids. Jenny is currently on Di Digitals list of nominees for "Sweden's most important female founder of 2017".
The game studio is working on their first game, Budget Cuts for HTC Vive and the demo has already been a huge success with thousands of people downloading the demo. Over 1.6 million people have seen the play through video posted earlier last year. Neat Corporation and their game Budget Cuts is sure to be a huge success.
Lydia Winters is Mojang’s Brand Director and leads the direction and usage of one of the most recognizable brands today, Minecraft. She runs many large projects including merchandising and publishing. Day to day, she works with partners, like LEGO and Mattel, to create amazing physical products inspired by Minecraft and on global marketing campaigns. Her job is to protect how people see the game and everything surrounding it. No day is ever the same and she is constantly bouncing around between many many things! She began at Mojang working with the community and hosting Minecraft’s annual convention, MINECON. Through her work with the brand, she quickly transitioned into her current role. She continues to host MINECON, unveiled the augmented reality version of Minecraft at the world’s foremost gaming convention, and speak at many conferences and events, worldwide. She was recognized last year in Forbes' 30 under 30 and more recently as one of TCO's Framtidens 99 mäktigaste.
