Startup Grind is known as a community convener, bringing like-minded yet diverse individuals together to connect, learn, teach, help, build, & belong, but sometimes we directors also collaborate as innovators. Tune in to hear how 3 far-flung directors from Australia, Mexico, & New York connected over innovation: Sean & Martin connected to bring TimeChi to life & Patrice bought in on Indiegogo.
Martin Moscosa is the director from Guadalajara, Mexico, Sean Greenhalgh is a co-director from Sydney, Australia, although he spends a lot of time in Hong Kong, and Patrice Perkins is the Capital Region NY, USA director.
Join us as we chop it up about being a director, how Startup Grind is the perfect place to collab and innovate, and how we all got connected around TimeChi.

Founder + CEOSee Bio
I'm an Army brat who has lived in Germany, Austria, Hawaii, and several less exotic locations. Words and engaging people are my superpowers. 25+ years of experience in the private, non-profit, and state government sectors, provide the eclectic background that serves me well as an industry-agnostic business analyst, researcher, and content creator. Domain expertise includes writing, customer discovery, startups, broadcast media, prospect research, business development, marketing, and group facilitation.
As Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst at In Focus Brands, I deploy as the primary point of contact onsite at client locations; using strong analytical and organizational abilities to engage key leadership and internal divisional stakeholders. I conduct audits to assess existing business processes and help develop branding, messaging, strategic action plans, and change management processes.
As Director of Startup Grind NY - Capital Region, I lead conversations with successful business leaders, who share lessons they learned while building great companies. It’s the place to learn best practices about getting and keeping customers, increasing revenue, and lowering costs.
The Word Architect is my boutique content creation firm focused on helping brands tell stories that attract the right clients and drive revenue.
