Ram Yonish is a 3X exited entrepreneur, and co founder of SG Tel Aviv, one of the top chapters in the world! When he turned 45 years old Ram Yonish looked at his very successful and very stable corporate job and decided he wanted a change. By the time he was 50 he wanted to have founded and exited a startup. Fast-forward to today, and within the last 3 years he founded and sold two companies, both in the cybersecurity space. How? Ram didn't want to just "grind it out" and work all hours of the day and night for 10+ years for an IPO. He valued work-life balance with his wife, 3 children and dog. So he traded some years of hard work for years of freedom and flexibility. His story is both a great lesson for mid-career professionals, and also young founders who want to learn about how to understand corporations' needs and immediately build things of value to them. Ram met one of his cofounders at a Startup Grind Tel Aviv event and has been instrumental in developing one of Startup Grind's top chapters in the world. He currently manages Contrast security's Israel office, does private investing and serves in advisory board positions in a few technology startups. He is a non-technical founder with BA and MBA in business and economics, Married, with 3 kids + an amazing Labrador.
