About Speakers:
Boris Zeleny, a serial entrepreneur and investor in over 70 companies. Before he helped AVG grow into a unicorn, be sold his first business twice. First to Scandinavia online, then to Europe's largest telecom operator, Deutsche Telekom. At AVG he was the key person behind its success. First they bought out all existing investors and then they started its growth journey, using a business model that was revolutionary at the time: 'freemium'. AVG eventually got acquired for $1.4 billion by AVAST. The combined company is today the world's largest consumer security company. He is Chairman of NKB Group. He is a member of several investment committees and holds Board positions in numerous technology companies. Boris is also active in philanthropy and is the founder and Chairman of the non-profit organisation Green Foundation.
Martin Sedlacky is COO and executive board member of Baltic Air and was part of the core team which took over the state-owned airline which was losing 121 million Euros per year in 2011 and turned it around to profitability by 2013 and currently growing 20%/year.
Baltic Air achieved top global rating for on-time airlines 3-years in a row demonstrating consistent excellent execution.
This year Baltic Air raised 200 Million Euro in the biggest private bond issuance in Latvian history.
Marian Gazdik is the head of Startup Grind London and the international conference Startup Grind Europe attended by 3000+ people. He is an experienced entrepreneur and a founding partner of IPM Ventures (https://www.ipmllp.com/team/marian-gazdik/ ). Marian has over twenty years of business experience, having worked in different marketing, product management and strategy roles with fast growing technology businesses in Europe and United States. He is Founding Partner at IPM Growth. At IPM Growth he focuses on helping companies scale and develop meaningful global partnerships.
Marian is European Director at Startup Grind, the world’s largest organisation for entrepreneurs with a presence in 120+ countries. In 2015 he co-founded Braintrust, an influential think-tank of top technology CEOs from Central & Eastern Europe.
Marian is an Advisory Board Member at T-Mobile Czech Republic & Telekom Slovakia, as well as being a startup mentor at Virgin Startup. He was featured in the New Europe 100 list (organised by the Financial Times, Google, Respublica and Visegrad Strategy), a list of outstanding leaders in world class innovation from Central and Eastern Europe.
Marian holds an MBA from ESCP (European School of Management), the oldest business school in the world.
Peter Kulloi is an investor and philanthropist. Péter Küllői began working as an investment banker in Budapest, then in London. In his forties, he retired and returned to his homeland, where he went on to serve as the head of various non-profit and business organizations. Among others, he is currently Chairman of the Bátor Tábor (a recreational program for children with life-threatening illnesses), board member of the Common Purpose Charitable Trust and member of the Tate Foundation's Russian and Eastern European Committee.
Juraj Priecel is co-founder of Efficio, a 500-person consulting group focused on procurement and supply-chain management. Juraj conducts pan-European and global supply chain project and designed and now oversees the Research and Intellectual Capital function, and ensures that relevant and new area-specific approaches, insights and benchmarks are applied in the work Efficio does for its clients.
