Building Bridges: Strengthening Startup Links Between Israel and Singapore

Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM UTC

Join us on January 27th for the first ever jointly organized Startup Grind event between Israel and Singapore as we talk about building bridges between these two dynamic startup ecosystems!

About this event

Singapore and Israel; two countries that are geographically small on the world map but continuously punch above their weight in a number of areas - including startups.

Israel has the highest number of startups per capita anywhere in the world and Singapore consistently ranks among the top of global competitiveness indexes and ease of doing business lists. It's no wonder that a recent article by the World Economic Forum of 5 startup hubs to watch globally put both Singapore and Israel on that list in the number one and two spots respectively.

Bilaterally, the countries have a long and rich history since they established diplomatic ties in 1969, making the opportunities for collaboration amongst those in the startup world in these economies all the more natural.

So what opportunities exist to strengthen the startup links between Israel in Singapore? How can Singapore be a hub and springboard for Israel startups, financiers and ideators to grow and scale in Asia and vice versa?

Join us on Wednesday, January 27th at 6:30pm Singapore time / 12:30pm Tel Aviv time for this virtual event as we talk with the changemakers and leaders on how to build these bridges and strengthen the bonds between these two dynamic startup hubs.
