May is Startup Grind's women's month, and in our upcoming event, we are thrilled to host a very prominent rising star: May Piamenta, CEO and co-founder of Vee.
May began as a community services manager at RoboActive, followed by a role as an international project lead at First, a global robotics community. She then joined the IDF, where she was an electronics warfare commander. After her military service, May mentored at Google Activate and then she founded Vee, a platform that streamlines the whole world of volunteering.
Vee's latest round of funding was led by State of Mind Ventures, with participation from noted Israeli VCs Oryzn Capital, Vertex, Viola Ventures, and well-known angel investors including Eynat Guez of Papaya Global, Amir Shevat of Innovation Endeavors, Gil Hirsch of StreamElements, and Guy Shamir of Mivtach Shamir. So impressive!
So come to meet May, get inspired by her story, and network and mingle with other entrepreneurs just like yourself!
Bringing people together, and providing value and networking opportunities, is what we do at every event. Startup Grind has helped many entrepreneurs, startups, and hyper-growth companies to scale globally.
