Rony Zarom sold his first company Exalink for $550mm to Comverse (NASDAQ: CNSI) only 18 months after establishing it. Rony has started Aspen Group, a publicly traded group (TASE) that focuses on income-producing real estate properties with total consolidated net assets of ILS 2.4 billion as well as Decima Ventures, a technology investment group with over 13 years track-record of building and growing successful companies. Decima Ventures typically invests in early-stage tech companies in the cyber-security, video, messaging and social spaces, current investments include Watchitoo, Axxana, PineApp and most recently- Samba, chosen as “startup to watch” at SXSW 2014.

As an investor, Rony acknowledges: "It's true, we fund companies. But what we really invest in is people. "

Creating successful companies is not Rony's only achievement: He is committed to giving back to the community.

In 2001 Rony established Unistream - a non-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through entrepreneurship. The 3 year educational program won the UN inter-cultural innovation award, and is committed to educating to “a new generation of business and social leaders – leaders who will rise up and be committed to improving the social and economic conditions in their own communities.”
