Alejtin Berisha is a tech enthusiast and a serial entrepreneur. Alejtin co-founded iziSurvey.com, an online and offline research platform, the launch of which made headlines in over 150 world portals including Reuters, Yahoo News and Boston Globe to name a few.
Alejtin is the Executive Director of Universum University College, the leading higher education institution in Kosovo where he also lectures in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and an affiliate faculty for the Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) course, developed by Michael Porter and his team at Harvard Business School (HBS). Universum is an approved MOC teaching institution by HBS. Alejtin is also a Visiting Professor at the ‘New start-up creation program’ at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, Asia’s one of the best universities. Alejtin is also the Managing Director for Kosovo and Albania of Wilson Learning, a leading corporate training company with offices in over 50 countries.
National Team Leader in conducting the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), the major entrepreneurship research in the world, Alejtin has mentored Entrepreneurs in Prishtina, New York and Silicon Valley and was a Coach and Mentor at Prishtina Startup Weekend and NYC Education Startup Weekend. Alejtin recently founded the Kosovo Business Angels Network (KOSBAN) where he is an active angel investor in early stage startups.
An innovator in higher education, Alejtin has been featured in the cover page of CIO Magazine for a project in 'Teaching with Social Media', and starred and was the host of the 'We have a Job for You' TV Show in the Radio Television of Kosovo (modeled after 'Apprentice' with Trump/Sugar).
Alejtin is a fellow at New York University, Steinhardt Institute for Higher Education Policy, an Executive Committee Member at EAIR – the European Higher Education Society and a think-tank expert member at World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEF).
