Over the past 8 years, Justin Carpenter has owned and operated Foolish Things Coffee Company in downtown Tulsa.
Foolish Things was the first free standing specialty coffee shop in the IDL and operates with the foundation of excelling in craft and hospitality. Located across from TCC's metro campus, Foolish Things is a destination cafe with a playful, neighborhood feel. In October of 2018 he opened Foolish Things Bar and Biscuit on Brookside to explore the depth and breadth of a bar program: Espresso Bar, Cocktail Bar, Floral Bar. The floral bar is a collaboration with his wife, Co-owner of Ever Something Event Styling.
Most recently, Justin has opened Foolish Things High Dive in the up and coming Studio Row Neighborhood on 3rd between Utica and Peoria. This third concept focuses on Korean inspired cuisine and craft reinterpretations of traditionally low brow cocktails. It strives to be a casual neighborhood bar that knows how to throw a great party.
Foolish Things has been written about in Food Network, Men's Health, Oklahoma Magazine, Tulsa World, and many other publications.
