Co-hosted by the Career Development Centre and Startup Grind UCW Chapter, this event will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7 PM at the Vancouver House East Building lobby.

Bukola Biola Omoleye, founder of Talking Body, shares how she built a cross-cultural fashion and lifestyle brand celebrating confidence and creativity. Sal Baig, Co-Founder of Prime Renders, discusses redefining clean living through innovative beef tallow-based culinary and skincare products. Muna Okam, founder and CEO of Chloe’s Foods Incorporated, brings over 15 years of experience building food and retail ventures. Her BC-based company crafts artisan, ethnic-inspired gourmet snacks, including a premium popcorn line available in Sobeys banners (Safeway and IGA), Stong’s Market, and other local retailers across the province. Christian Pretel, founder of Peru Wonders Produce, shares his path from managing businesses in Lima to launching a cross-border produce company in Vancouver.
