Enrique Penichet started his journey by launching the first accelerator program in Spain and raised a Venture Fund from scratch in 2012, backing over 100 startups since 2010.

The Executive MBA from IESE Business School has Traventia, Streamloots, Cronoshare, Easy Virtual Fair, Fiftykey, Civitfun.com, Filmarket Hub, Iristrace, Vottun, Zapiens, Billage as some of the companies he has on his portfolio; including successful exits at Jeff, Signaturit, Skitude.

The entrepreneur and venture capitalist, who has been invited as a professor to different universities around Spain and LATAM, says his focus falls on digital and real estate investments.

Over the last 10 years, Enrique has been a member of the jury of some of the most prestigious entrepreneurship awards, such as 4YFN at Mobile World Congress, MIT Emtech, Emprendedor XXI, or Emprende con Vodafone, as we as Metamentor at Google Launchpad Program.

He has been able to combine it with being a member of the executive board of the Angel Investor Network at Big Ban Angels and IESE.

Nowadays he is the Founding Partner at Draper B1. The company was born in October 2010 as Bbooster Accelerator, becoming the first accelerator in Spain. It was in 2012 when they launched the first fund, becoming regulated then. Bbooster launched the second fund in 2016 and only one year later, in 2017, was selected to be part of Draper Venture Network.

After two years, in 2019, Enrique became a board member at Draper Venture Network and only one year later, Bbooster Ventures became Draper B1, the first Draper branded fund in Euro Zone.
