He studies economics in vienna and for most part of his life he was working in executive positions in the international pharmaceutical industry in Austria, Germany, UK and Spain. He did a management buy out of a big pharmaa factory in spain, which he successfuly ran, grew and then exited in 2003. Eversince he has been investing as an angel, and that is his new pasion. He has over 20 companies in his portfolio like runtastic, diagnosia, mysugr, whatchado. He focused on providing angel support, really helping the teams to figure out a sustainable business. He now teamed up with Oliver Holle from SpeedInvest (whatch the video of oliver at startupgrind viennas past events), and the pioneers to create a much wider early stage fund for the CEE area. He heads the SpeedInvest 2 Investment Committee and is a very outspoken entrepreneur. He is president of the Austrian Angel Investors Association.
