The brainchild of Milda Mitkute and Justas Janauskas, Vinted grew from a local website into a mobile-first community of 15 million people in 10 countries which is boasting over 30 million listings in total. Vinted mission is to make second hand the #1 choice worldwide. Also, Vinted was awarded as a best year startup in 2010 and best year webpage in 2011.
Milda Mitkutė is the co-founder of Vinted, a social marketplace to sell, buy and swap clothes. She has more than 10 years of experience in performance and brand marketing. Her expertise has helped Vinted find its first users and expand into new markets. Milda's interest in organisational culture makes her a valuable strategic thinker within the company and a strong voice that speaks on behalf of its employees. Milda will accompany Vaidotas in sharing her fundraising know how as well as insights about early Vinted history and culture.
Vaidotas Urba is the CFO of Vinted. He has more than 15 years of experience in financial management. He previously worked in large retail and food production corporations, but three years ago he bet his career on startups and joined Vinted. He is interested in business models and strategy. His hobby is macroeconomics and investing - both are useful in his professional activities. Vaidotas will share his experience in improving the modeling and planning of the business and setting the right KPIs. He will also talk about fundraising.
