Dan Gordon is the Technology Partner at Valhalla Partners since 2004 and is considered one of the biggest VC "startup evangelist" in the area. Valhalla has made more than 120 investments and produced almost $1 billion of investment proceeds, funding companies such as CareerBuilder.com, Parature, Zonoff, Videology, Advertising.com, Flat World, Speek, App47, and many more.
Dan has over thirty years of experience working with technology, as a computer scientist, software developer, manager, analyst, and entrepreneur. He has also spent 20 years in Silicon Valley in senior technical roles at well-known Silicon Valley firms like Symantec, Intuit, and Oracle. Dan has also been involved in startup companies in the applied Artificial Intelligence and Web applications fields.
Dan also volunteers his time teaching at various university programs such as DC I-Corp, a technology transfer and commercialization program using lean startup methodology from regional universities and federal labs.
Dan has a B.A cum laude from Harvard University and an M.S. degree from New York University in Computer Science. He is a Professional Member of the IEEE and ACM.
