Terry Hsiao is an entrepreneur, advisor and investor with extensive experience in mobile messaging, payment and fintech. He has founded multiple companies in mobile that got acquired by Sybase, Verifone, and Kaleyra.
Appointed by two governors across party lines, Terry served on the board of Virginia’s Center of Innovation and Technology, a state-funded economic development and investment agency. Terry is the current President of Monte Jade DC, representing Asian American business leaders and entrepreneurs for 25 years. He has served on the Board of Governors at MIT Sloan and on the Board of Advisors at the College of Engineering at Rutgers University.
Terry received a BSEE Honors degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Management of Technology from MIT Sloan.
Steven A. Rodriguez is the Techstars Startup Programs Regional Manager for US and Canada, Founder / Managing Director of SUEGO™ and Chief Culture Officer at BloomShift™. He co-leads various ESHIP programs through his non-profit InnovateCoalition™; is a Business Development & Digital Marketing Mentor & Contributor for WeWork Labs and Coach for the DC Department of Employment Services Innovation Lab; and is a Board Member to the International Council on Trade and Development. He was Director of Community Engagement for 1863 Ventures, a business development program, and community strategist for the Global Entrepreneurship Network and NextGen Venture Partners. He is currently a community strategist leading various world renowned entrepreneurship programs and initiatives in the Greater Washington, D.C like the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebration and the Techstars Startup Programs through DC Startup Week, Startup Weekend DC and Startup Digest DC. Region. Rodriguez has a BA from CUNY The City College of New York and is currently pursuing an EMBA.
Ollen Douglass is the Managing Director for Motley Fool Ventures which launched in the second half of 2018, Motley Fool Ventures will be a venture fund focused on inspiring entrepreneurs leading high quality early stage private companies.
Prior to becoming the Managing Director, Ollen was CFO of The Motley Fool for 14 years.
In addition to his finance duties, Ollen co-developed and managed a corporate venture capital program, Motley Venture Partners. He serves on the board of portfolio companies Eyrus and InHerSight, and on the board of the nonprofit Young Artists of America. Prior to joining The Fool, he worked in Mortgage Banking, and was an auditor for KPMG.

Brian is a startup evangelist, advisor, and angel investor. He is currently the Director of Product at Real Time Cases, an EdTech startup based in DC. He is also the director for Startup Grind DC and Executive-In- Residence at the AOL Fishbowl Labs. He was also formerly the global COO of Startup Grind and has started three previous startups.
