Wednesday April 4th, 5.30pm We will be chatting to Victoria Armstrong about her entrepreneurial journey and lessons she's learned along the way. We will quiz her on founding and growing companies, including growth pain points, funding rounds, international product expansion, and more. We will also get her advice on what investors look for in startup investment opportunities. Victoria has been an entrepreneur for 15 years and is currently in her 3rd venture as an early stage investor and COO of WhosOnLocation. As a Saas application, WhosOnLocation helps protect the safety and security of an organisation's people and assets. It does this by helping to manage, notify and control who's going in and out of a workplace or job site. As ‘Operations Sensé’ Victoria is responsible for finance and marketing. In the last 9 months has been executing the US strategy and expansion traveling monthly between countries. Liaising with partners such as resellers, investors, and integrators while feeding back to the R&D team in New Zealand is right up her ally. Prior to WhosOnLocation Victoria founded two other businesses, one in media training and one in the health sector. Having initially spent 6 years training in health and sports science, Victoria saught the challenges of the sales arena where she relished the demands of securing millions of dollars in new advertising revenues for major television networks. It is the combination and diversity of these skills that enable Victoria to bring something fresh yet experienced to a conversation or business every day.
