In 1989, at the age of 30, Dr. Dorfman formed the hugely successful company, Discus Dental, Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer & distributor of tooth-whitening, oral hygiene & aesthetic dental products. Here he helped develop such ground-breaking professional take-home teeth whitening products as Nite White, Day White, Breath Rx, Zoom!. In 2010, Dutch company Royal Philips Electronic, acquired Discus Holdings in a multimillion dollar acquisition.

Having received 3 Lifetime achievement awards from the most noted Cosmetic Dental Academies in the world. He has authored two books, including a New York Times bestseller. He has lectured internationally and helped patients and A-list celebrities alike smile with confidence. He has been featured on Extreme Makeover, The Doctors, Steve Harvey Show, Good Morning America, FAB Life and been featured on more reality shows than any other dentist. More than a dentist, Dr. Dorfman is also passionate about helping kids and co-founded the LEAP Foundation – a motivational, leadership program for high school and college students to teach them the life skills they need to succeed in life!

His humanitarian & philanthropic involvement has led to his being honored with 14 Life Time Achievement Awards in addition to 2 Guinness World Book records and in 2018 he was Knighted by the Royal Order of Constantine!
