Adam Hartke is an independent music advocate and entrepreneur focusing on innovative concepts to create more inclusive, sustainable, and decentralized environments within the music industry. Adam lives and works in Wichita, KS, where he has been instrumental in expanding the live original music scene within his community. From this centralized location, Adam now works on national initiatives through his work with D Tour and the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA). Currently serving as the Co-Founder / Partner with Hartke Presents, D Tour, Wave, and The Cotillion, Adam leverages his 15+ years of experience in show promotions and production, entertainment, abstract thinking, community organizing, and event planning to drive the undertakings of multiple music-centered organizations. Adam is also co-director of MEADOW (Music Ecosystems and Artist Development Operation of Wichita), a non-profit entity focused on creating support systems and infrastructure for the development and growth of the Wichita music industry. Partnering with his life and business partner, Jessie, the duos passion for positive social impact is at the foundation of all they do. As a volunteer, Adam serves as Co-Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the National Independent Venue Association, where he played an integral role, alongside dozens of industry peers, in advocating for the passage of the Save Our Stages Act, securing $16 billion in pandemic relief for independent venues that helped ensure the survival of thousands of local independent businesses across the nation. Jessie Hartke is an independent music advocate and entrepreneur focused on creating and expanding an inclusive, sustainable, and decentralized music industry in the mid-west and beyond. Partnering with her life and business partner, Adam, the duo's passion for positive social impact is at the foundation of all they do. As an expert in the independent music business, Jessie has been influential in championing the charge to revitalize the industry after a time of intense peril. She currently serves as co-owner and partner of Hartke Presents, Wave, and The Cotillion. Additionally, Jessie serves as the Chief Communications Officer of D Tour, where she garnered national recognition for launching one of the first coast-to-coast independent music booking conglomerates. Jessie is also co-director of MEADOW (Music Ecosystems and Artist Development Operation of Wichita), a non-profit entity focused on creating support systems and infrastructure for the development and growth of the Wichita music industry. With a focus on growing a network of independent artists, venues, promoters, Jessie envisions a more collaborative environment where individuals retain more power over their own destiny by working more closely to build a new industry from the ground up.
