Startup Grind Yerevan x SAP Community Yerevan: Design Thinking in Action

What happens when Yerevan’s startup energy meets SAP’s global innovation community? We are about to find out.

Startup Grind Yerevan and the SAP Community of Yerevan take the momentum with a special hands-on community evening featuring Moritz Gekeler, senior Design Thinking coach. Moritz Gekeler is visiting Armenia as one of the lead coaches of the training and certification program within Impact Week Armenia 2026,

The Design Thinking Leporello Experience

At the heart of the event will be the Design Thinking Leporello - a colorful, foldable playing field developed at SAP by Moritz and colleagues to help teams experience an idealized Design Thinking process in a simple, playful, and tangible way.

Participants will form teams, move through the process together, and get a hands-on taste of how Design Thinking helps turn messy challenges into user-centered ideas.

Who is it for?

The event is intended for anyone who is interested in experiencing a short, yet impactful Design Thinking workshop.

Facilitators

The event will be facilitated by Moritz Gekeler, who has led strategic co-innovation projects at SAP, managed executive education programs at the Hasso Plattner Institute, and designed innovation workshops as a Futurist at Daimler. He will be joined also by Mahin Moghaddam and Roland Martin from SAP, internal leadership trainers and coaches driving inspiring initiatives around  innovation, and cultural diversity at SAP.

We can’t wait to see the startup community of Yerevan meet the SAP Community of Yerevan: to connect, experiment, fold ideas, and unfold new possibilities.
