Hrachik Adjamian started his first business at the age of 16. Has been the CEO of the very first social network in Russia that was acquired by Yandex in 2007. Started Budist.ru in 2011 and it became a top startup in Russia with millions of users and many prizes (such us The Startup of the Year, #1 Startup Team in Russia, Forbes Startup Contest Winner etc.). Started the Wakie app in Silicon Valley in 2014 and today users make over 5 million calls per month. YCombinator alumni since 2016. Wakie is venture backed (in total 35 investors who have put $6 million) by the best early stage venture firms in Silicon Valley such as SV Angel and First Round Capital, founders of PayPal and Eventbrite, and even by Matt Bellamy who is the lead singer of rock band Muse.
Tat Adjamian started his first company at the age of 19, together with his co-founder and brother Hrachik. Tat is a Y Combinator alumni with Wakie. Besides YC, the company was also backed by SV Angel (Google, Facebook, Pinterest, Quora), First Round Capital (Uber, Hotel Tonight), Scott Banister (PayPal board member), Kevin Hartz (founder of Eventbrite), Matt Bellamy (Muse) and other great investors.
Wakie is a social app for phone calls where you set a topic and get to have a phone call with someone interested in your topic. Wakie has over 2 million users worldwide.
Besides startups, Tat has a broad experience in Investment banking (Troika Dialog), consulting (PwC) and enterprise sales.
Tat is happily married, raising two daughters.
