Barbara Fischer is the founding partner at Arena Ventures AG, a start-up consultancy based in Zurich and specialising in early-stage financing for European technology start-ups. Prior to founding Arena, Barbara held senior management positions in global corporations such as Swarovski, Lithium Technologies and Löwenbrau Group Australia. Between 2006-2012, Barbara also started and grew her own marketing technology firm, Trendhaus Pty Ltd, in Sydney, Australia which she successfully sold in late 2011.
Barbara says about herself that she “eats tech for breakfast”. She understands the challenges of tech entrepreneurs from first-hand experience. In her Masterclasses on Start-up Fundraising, she teaches founders how best to prepare for and close their funding rounds.
