Entirely entrepreneurial, Phillipp co-founded Koubachi in 2009, a company that revolutionises the way we deal with things and everyday objects. The Zurich-based pioneer in the field of smart gardening, was bought by the Husqvarna Group, with Philipp joining the Gardena Division, focusing on innovation and bringing extensive experience of the Internet of Things and home automation technology.
Dr. Philipp Bolliger is the founder and CEO of Koubachi, the creators of the Wi-Fi Plant Sensor. After receiving his master's degree in computer science, Philipp graduated from ETH Zurich with a degree in 2011. The focus of his scientific work was in the field of "ubiquitous computing", with a special focus on indoor positioning. During his PhD, Philipp also worked at the prestigious Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) and has published several seminal papers in the field of Collaborative Indoor Localization. Philip's passion has always been the creation of products that would simplify our lives.
