One of the hardest things (whether you’re hunting for your next role or building your startup team) is cutting through the noise.
The good news: there are some underrated platforms and tricks that actually work.
Here are a few I’ve seen deliver results for both founders and job-seekers:
💼 Work at a Startup (YC) : great for early-stage tech and operator roles
🌍 Wellfound (ex AngelList): still solid for generalists and founders looking for first hires
📩 Pallet: newsletter-based talent boards curated by operators/investors
🌐 Remote OK / We Work Remotely: strong for remote-first teams
🌎 Latitud Jobs: focused on Latin America, huge for startups hiring across the region
👥 Indie Hackers: surprisingly effective for finding founder-adjacent operators + engineers
🤖 AI Tools (Hireflow, Ashby, ChatGPT prompts): speed up sourcing, filtering, and messaging
Bonus hack: Create a simple “open-to-work landing page” with your projects + resume (Card, Notion, Github or Super work great). Then share it across LinkedIn, X, and startup communities - it travels fast!!!

·2 days agoAnother thing worth trying is reaching out directly to startup founders, especially at smaller companies. Some are hiring before they even post a job. A short message with a relevant project or example of your work can help get a conversation started.

Techstars - https://www.techstars.com/careers
Sequoia Capital - https://jobs.sequoiacap.com/jobs
Lightspeed - https://jobs.lsvp.com/jobs
