October 2021 DEI Month | Startup Grind

This month Startup Grind is celebrating DEI month, presented by SVB and supported by Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs. DEI stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; 31 days to emphasize the importance of diversity across our global startup ecosystem, and what it means to all of us. We are so excited to take this time to recognize and amplify the voices of leaders in our globally diverse communities, providing a platform for those that may not have been heard previously.

While we are proud to uplift and celebrate diverse leaders year-round, #DEIMonth is a unique opportunity for us to highlight just how incredible, capable, and innovative (we could go on forever) leaders who help transform the future. The tech, investor, and startup spaces are radically revolutionary thanks to these leaders, and we want to share that with the world.

There will be a variety of events across our SG Chapters for folks to get involved in; we encourage you to explore SG events in your city, in someone else’s, and of course attend our DEI #SGStartupSummit. DEI Month is a great opportunity to hear from Startup Grind’s diverse community.
