Airports

San Francisco (SFO)

This seems to be the most popular airport in the bay area, receives the most traffic and has a BART station running through it that can take you to Caltrain (for travels to Palo Alto, Mountain View, and San Jose) or can take you directly into San Francisco. (24.3mi/39.1km)

Oakland (OAK)

Located across the peninsula in the East Bay, Oakland airport tends to have cheaper airfare and inexpensive accommodations. This could be an idea solution to get a cheap air ticket on a budget, but to stay somewhere closer to Mountain View or San Francisco. Has a BART station very close by that can be used to get into the peninsula. (32.7mi/52.6km)

San Jose (SJS)

The San Jose airport lies on the bottom of Silicon Valley and is closest to Mountain View and Palo Alto. This is a great place to arrive if you only plan on being near the conference for your duration of the trip. (10.9mi/17.5km)
