As Startup Grind Pretoria we are the largest, most progressive and innovative monthly gathering of entrepreneurs within The City of Tshwane. Our monthly events series highlight the success and failure of startups in Pretoria.

Startup Grind Pretoria is delighted to host events presented by AWS. Amazon Web Services, or AWS, provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments, on a pay-as-you-go basis. Through the AWS Activate program, AWS provides startups with a low cost, easy to use infrastructure needed to scale and grow their companies. Visit to apply.

Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting more than 2,000,000 entrepreneurs in over 600 chapters. We nurture startup ecosystems in 125+ countries through events, media, and partnerships with organizations like Google for Startups.

The cornerstone of our global community are monthly events featuring successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors who share lessons learned on the road to building great companies. Founded in Silicon Valley, Startup Grind has helped millions of entrepreneurs build their businesses, connect with strategic partners, and secure funding.

We focus on business events that include Fireside Chats, MasterClasses, Workshops, Trainings, Seminars and Conferences.

Startup Grind Pretoria Values

• We believe in making friends, not contacts.

• We believe in giving, not taking.

• We believe in helping others before helping yourself.

Check out our events and be sure to ask about partnership, sponsorship, volunteer or collaborative opportunities with our community. And if there is something we can do for you or help you with don't hesitate to reach out. Let's make the Startup Grind a little bit smoother for everyone.

No membership needed, and open to anyone from skilled entrepreneur, through to those that are in corporate and wanting to know more.
