Turin is not all about Fiat, Cinzano and chocolate. Surrounded by the Italian Alps, the Piedmont city might be located in Italy’s industrial region, but it is taking over as the cultural jewel in the Italian crown. In the last decade, Turin has become one the most important Italian cities in different environments, from cultural and artistic events, to startups incubators; from museums to electronic music festivals. Though it is undoubtedly a factory town, Turin is also elegant and perbene, or well-mannered. As Wall Street Journal wrote: There's a perception of Turin that it's about rigor and good manners. That's true, but if you dig deeper you find its true essence of a creative and sparkling brain power.
