Welcome to the Brisbane Startup Community
As one of the largest independent startup communities in the world, Startup Grind facilitates monthly events featuring interviews and audience questions with local, influential founders and investors.
“It’s great to see so much of education, networking and support now available in Brisbane for startups. What we’d like to add to the community is to facilitate a regular format for learnings to be shared from local successful businesses who have experienced the journey from startup and investment, through growth and scale” says General Manager of Startup Grind Australia and New Zealand, Chris Joannou.
Already successfully running in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, as well as 180 other cities across 80 countries, it's a perfect time for Brisbane to join this global community.
Startup Grind Brisbane will be run by Chapter Director Louisa Dahl who founded digital marketing events company, Interactive Minds. Startup Grind Brisbane will be running 11 events in 2016 and will provide local entrepreneurs and startups with quality knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.
Founders, investors and the startup community are invited to be part of Startup Grind Brisbane’s inaugural event, which will be held on January 28th featuring Stephen Phillips. Stephen cofounded music search company We Are Hunted, which was later sold to Twitter. Stephen has now launched Mawson Robotics aiming to design intelligent machines to grow Australia’s most valuable industries. Get your ticket now!
